Me

Social Impact

I am a passionate advocate for mental health and well-being, serving as a peer educator in school and an active member of AWWA (Accepting Whole We Are), a mental wellness organization. I've impacted over 500 lives through donation drives and prioritize an environmentally conscious, minimalistic lifestyle. Join me in making a positive difference in our immediate community and beyond.

United Nations Millennium Fellowship

As Campus Director for North Campus, Delhi University, under the United Nations Millennium Fellowship, I led impactful social welfare projects centred on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Focusing on the 3rd SDG goal of good health and well-being, I identified and addressed a gap in mental health support on campus. Through community advocacy and connecting students to cost-effective resources, I enhanced accessibility to the college counsellor for those in distress. Simultaneously, I mentored a cohort of 20 students, established 'Project Tehraav' for campus-wide mental health advocacy, and facilitated nine training sessions on social inequities. I also served as the point of contact for the United Nations Academic Impact project coordination.

Accepting Who We Are
AWWA

I am one of the incorporating members and am actively involved as a member of AWWA (Accepting who we are), a student-led organization that promotes mental health and well-being.

Our primary focus is to raise awareness about mental health and disorders through content shared on our social media platforms. Given the sensitivity of this topic, we collaborate with certified professional counselors to seek their guidance before publishing any content. Additionally, we have established a database of psychologists and counselors to connect individuals in distress with the necessary support, completely free of charge.

In addition to addressing mental health issues, we also share content on positive thinking and everyday struggles to create a more open atmosphere around various topics that are often stigmatized or neglected. Furthermore, we have organized donation drives and successfully raised funds for charitable causes, positively impacting the lives of over 500 individuals to date.

Mural Design for Public Toilets

These innovative public toilets are created by the Enactus club at Hansraj College and they are crafted using recycled hay which otherwise would have been burnt, hence these facilities combat air pollution . Symbolizing environmental preservation, the women's cubicle features Mother Earth, while the men's cubicle depicts ailing mankind. When the figures join hands, an idea shines as a bulb, representing Enactus's symbol. Notably, both the male and female figures are painted on their respective gender-specific cubicles, serving as a functional solution to guide users effectively for some sections of society who may be unaware. My design encourages environmental consciousness and fosters a sustainable future. This concept was conceived by me and I helped in the execution of this project while coordinating with the painting team.

Peer Educator

In high school, I was selected for the peer educator program, where I received training from psychologists to support fellow students facing distress. Adolescence can be challenging, and some may hesitate to confide in adults or teachers. Our goal was to bridge this gap by recognizing signs of distress and reaching out to the school counselor for help. For three and a half years, I remained committed to this program, organizing workshops on safety and anger management for the school community. This experience prioritized mental health for me and motivated me to assist others facing similar struggles.
